Unfortunately, this isn't well-made...

It's staged...with too much playing to the camera.

It's just the same old stories in a different country - and, unfortunately, it's not that interesting.

Surely, there were more interesting stories to be told, more interesting people to film rather than this tedium. And that...is possibly the reason why these directors went on to do very little.

The(ir) Blurb...

This documentary shows a few days in the life of various members of Abdijan, Ivory Coast's gay and transgendered community. We get to meet a variety of woubis, yossis, etc. The hero/heroine of the film is a statuesque young man named Barbara who is organizing the annual year-end party of the Ivory Coast Tranvestite Association, to be held December 27, 1997.
