CGiii Comment
The best thing about this film is the poster!
Everything about it is distinctly amateur...both in the technical and intellectual departments. Anyone with a camera could have made this...few are equipped with the intelligence to cope with the complexity of issues contained herein!
Trying to get beneath the skin of these label-laden-millenarians takes a helluva lot more intelligence than this filmmaker - sadly - has...
Look...much rubbish has been said about trans*issues over the years and much more will be said...this film certainly amplifies this fact...
Very few speak the truth...when they do...they are labelled transphobic...but, there are great big elephants in this room surrounded by ostriches with their heads-firmly-in-stuck-in-the-sand...
One day, a brave filmmaker will address the elephants and kick the ostriches squarely between the legs...until then, we will have to tolerate [much, much] more of this amateur ilk!

The(ir) Blurb...

Documentary explores our traditional gender roles through the experiences of people who challenge them all. Interviews include various Burlesque - artists, female pastor and Europe's only transsexual pro-wrestler who body-slams traditional gender roles in a profession, where the norms of gender are narrowly defined.
