CGiii Comment
An ultra low-budget feature from an unheard of auteur...usually, a recipe for disaster.
It has both good (unusual) and bad (usual) points - typically, a production such as this only has bad points.
Technically, it's proficient...framing, composition, pace and editing are all pretty good. The sound has its problems and the interior lighting errs on darkness - the usual casualties of the micro-budget.
A re-write would have a huge benefit...there's a little too much awkward sounding dialogue...delivered by some incompetent actors - especially the father.
There is potential here...less of the idealism and sentimentality, brushing up on the dialogue and getting better actors - will all help towards a subsequent and better production.
Watch...more that 3.3 million people have!
