CGiii Comment
If this film’s intention is to be anti-gay - then, it does a bloody good job.
Many will be angey. Leigh Bowery for one. As for Alig...well...
Bad script with some seriously bad acting.
Toledano obviously went to some trendy clubs, met a few trendy people and made an untrendy film to impress his unimpressive friends...
Did he ever meet Alig??? Didi he ever go to the Limelight???
God, it is bloody awful. Watch Party Monster instead.
The somewhat well-known producer must be slightly embarrassed to have this in his portfolio.

The(ir) Blurb...
Filmed in English and utilizing a largely non-professional cast, this zany first-time effort from Spanish director Manuel Toledano paints a vivid portrait of life in the heroin-laden clubs of the Big Apple's gay/transvestite subculture. The story's protagonist is Dennis, a terminally ill drag queen trying to come to grips with his upcoming demise. Other characters include a pair of bubble-headed heterosexual college students who try to fit in with the crowd and only find disaster, and the punkish, drug-addicted Jonathan who has fallen in love with a gorgeous fireman.
