CGiii Comment

Beautifully observed...with a comical eye.

Beautifully filmed and touchingly acted.

This is a sort of coming out teen drama devoid of the overwrought angst and the anxiety that most films of this ilk portray.

In fact, it's not a big deal - it's an unfolding, a gentle realisation.

It lulls you into a false sense of security - the well-adjusted teens aren't that well-adjusted...a reflection on the adults around them.

It is a deeply moving film that will linger for a long time...simply because of its appreciated originality.

Damn fine work.

The(ir) Blurb...

It's November 1989, and the Berlin Wall is falling. In Stavanger, Norway, teenage boy Jarle has a great new girlfriend and is starting a rock band with his buddies.
