Dr Turing...by those who knew him...

It's such a pity that those behind The Imitation Game never watched this...before embarking on their fictional endeavour.

Dr Turing's letters reveal a completely different person to what was portrayed in that film. His friends - affectionately - recount is eccentric and social character...and, his genius.

There are academics who spout nonsense...egregiously proven wrong by time.

By no stretch of the imagination...was Dr Turing a self-hating homo...!

Utterly fascinating...and, terribly BBC.
