Definitely worth a look - especially to see how an older gay couple are portrayed in the incongruous setting of a Western.
It really is rather touching...beautifully managed.
Mankiewicz won 4 Oscars throughout his career and worked with the biggest names - here, he shows humour and a sensitivity that would seem out of place in a Western - but, it works.
It works well.

Charm, intelligence and success in criminal career doesn't prevent Paris Pitman Jr. to start doing ten years in prison, in the middle of the Arizona desert. However, those years should pass quickly because of a $500,000 loot previously stashed away. New idealistic warden would only make Pitman think of getting his fortune even sooner.
