Wigstock: The Movie
- Director: Barry Shils
- Producer: Richard Abramowitz; Marlen Hecht
CGiii Comment
It's rather puzzling as to what the producers were trying to achieve with this film...
A memento of the day...for participants and audience? If so, then, it works.
As an insightful documentary about the philosophy behind drag and Wigstock? It fails, completely.
You have to like drag to enjoy this - otherwise, it is a parade of limited talent with over-inflated egos.
