Secret Love (A)

An agonising watch!
When to intervene? When to throw in the towel? When to accept the unacceptable? When to let go.
It's all about the inevitability of when...because, the when always happens...tide and time wait for no-one.
Pat and Terry have reached late Winter in their lives...Pat's family have - basically - staged an intervention. In their eyes, Pat is vulnerable and Terry is not fit enough to look after her properly...this intervention - quite rightly - will raise a few eyebrows. It does feel as if this couple have been coerced into an assisted living facility. An option that was not discussed...home help!
But no...60 years of possessions have to be 'edited' down to fit into their new home. It was fleetingly mentioned...but, Terry was sitting on a rather sizable nest egg...she could easily afford a 24/7 home help...rather than the upheaval of moving out of their beloved house and home. Raised eyebrows indeed! Interventions are not always for altruistic reasons!
A Secret Love is all about the love...that these two ladies have for each other thankfully, better late than never, they cemented their bond by getting married...easily one of the best proposals recorded on camera.
As bittersweet as it is...this truly is an emotional rollercoaster that ends with the inevitability of when!
