Why isn't it called dykebug?

Let's face it...no girl was ever called a fag or a queer in the schoolyard...so, why is this lesbian (and lesbians [the activist ones] in general) reclaiming words that are profoundly offensive to gay men?

So...why isn't it called dykebug? Or, queerbug? Or, lesbug? Why...fag!?!

You are a woman, you are a lesbian...not a gay man!!! Be proud of who YOU are...

Call it a dykebug or a queerbug or a lesbug...not fag!

Erin Davies has made a career out of provocation and bad filmmaking...she has become an inspirational/motivational speaker...traveled the length and breadth of the USA with a montonal voice and a homophobic car...and produced yet another dreary film.

The novelty is over, the car back-fired...the misandry is over-bearing.

Give it a rest, the stone has been drained of blood....retire.

The(ir) Blurb...

On the 11th Annual National Day of Silence, Erin Davies was victim to a hate crime in Albany, New York. Because of sporting a rainbow sticker on her VW Beetle, Erin*s car was vandalized, left with the words 'fag' and 'u r gay' placed on the driver's side window and hood of her car. Despite initial shock and embarrassment, Erin decided to embrace what happened by leaving the graffiti on her car.

She took her car, now known worldwide as the 'fagbug', on a 58-day trip around the US and Canada. Along the way, Erin discovered other, more serious hate crimes, had people attempt to remove the graffiti, and experimented with having a male drive her car. After driving the fagbug for 1 year, Erin decided to give her car a makeover.
