Nothing quite like causing a bit of controversy...
Jesus H. Christ...these are high-school students, out-of-control and doped up to the eyeballs. Parents...be warned, this ain't suitable viewing for your kids...unless you want them to be jacking up and jacking off!
Is it really that shocking? Yes...it is...depending on your age. Those who grew up with top-shelf, porn-out-of-reach will quiver at the [unnecessary] explicit moments...of which there are quite a few. No doubt, the millennials will wonder what all the fuss is about...after all, genitalia pops up everywhere on the internet!
Kids [or, should that be Young Adults?] are [much] more comfortable with [explicit] nudity and sex than ever before...the 'selfie' has indeed replaced the chat-up line...show me what you've got big boy...duh...delete.
The problem is...when 'kids' watch extreme sexual practices and assume that's the way to do it, there may be trouble ahead...Euphoria throws that one in...in a scene that really is rather disturbing...with an added twist!
But, hey...porn never killed anyone. Drugs have done, are doing and will do...end lives. There really has to be a [collective] responsibility as to how 'drug use' is depicted on-screen...especially when the target audience are so 'sensitive' - still, the drug problem has never been solved and - quite possibly - never will.
Euphoria is a smack-in-the-teeth for the older generation and a [severe] poke-in-the-ribs towards the uber-sensitive...whatever their age!
Hey, hey, Snowflakes...my pretty little snowflakes...the change in the weather has made it better for me...
