Is this bravery, foolishness...or, a ravenous appetite for publicity?
Let's get one thing out in open...this is a transition fantasy.
Very few people who go through the transition process do it with a vast disposible income...Ms Jenner has an enviable amount of money...and surrounds herself with an entourage of stylists, PAs, counsellors and film crew.
After a brief introduction...the first encounter with the family, mother and sisters occurs - why would they want this filmed?!?
Cut to...a news item...
A trans-kid commits suicide...cut to...
Kanye West popping in...he discusses his trainers...seriously?!?
Then, Caitlyn and Kim Kardashian enter a closet that is bigger than a small apartment and rifle through designer clobber that has been given freely...for publicity.
It is all about publicity. And, it stinks.
We're not saying that Jenner is insincere...but, has chosen a very foolish route...the criticisms are sure to come fast and furious...deservedly so.
Finally, the person/people in charge of this production has/have done a mighty big disservice to Ms Jenner...that favorable light that shone so brightly is fading fast.
Don't be fooled into thinking that this is a documentary...this is reality TV at its very worst.
Quite rightly...cancelled after 16 [excruciating] episodes.
