Complicated...and, that's putting it mildly.
Lukas/Miriam is transitioning from female-to-male and, inadvertently, falls for a gay man ...confused? Not half as much as Lukas/Miriam!
Self-centred, moody and selfish...and, all the whining and mind-games...it's very difficult to feel anything for Lukas/Miriam.
Actually, it's very difficult to feel anything for any of the characters...they are all so horrible.
Ultimately, it's an immature film that fails to tackle the pertinent issues...truth and transparency...instead of screwing with the minds of others...be upfront.
As for the ending...quite ridiculous.

Twenty year old Lukas is a female to male (FTM) Transsexual man, taking the steps through his gender reassignment treatment. His friendship with Ine, who is lesbian, is making the changes and assimilation easier. Lukas sees his romantic world open up for him as Ine introduces him to gay life in Cologne. As he becomes more and more interested in a local gay boy, things are getting more and more complicated. Should Lukas tell this boy who he really is?
