CGiii Comment

Apparently, this has never been shown on British TV - there's a reason...many, many reasons.

Basically, it's utter rubbish. The Children's Crusade is a mere fantasy, it never happened.

The script is solely composed of Hail Marys and air-crosses...the children walk, each one confesses their sins to a monk - who is the least monk-ish monk in the whole of Christendom.

All is revealed - there's a poof in the crusade - there actually might be two!!! And then...it ends!

Wajda's talents as a director are questionable - he would be more likely to get blood out of a stone than elicit a decent performance from any of his actors.

Grotesque...and, quite rightly forgotten.
