Without a shadow of a doubt...the worst.
Burrows, prominent pilot-maker, multi-Emmy award recipient, director of every Will & Grace episode...what an impressive CV!
If his career had been balanced on this film alone - he would have ceased working with immediate effect, thrown into the dumpster for useless directors - and erased from memory - as this film should be.
Written by the writer of La Cage aux Folles...if his career had been balanced on this limp film alone...blah, blah.
This is a shameful and vile atrocity.
Mr Hurt whatever were you thinking?!? You had two Oscar nominations under your belt!!! That accent!!!
And, just to rub salt into the wounds, Ryan O'Neal - even as a headband-wearing leather queen - really is a terrible actor.
A classic example of...when it all goes wrong.

The(ir) Blurb...
Benson is a police detective. After a series of murders in the Gay community he is ordered to go undercover with a gay police clerk named Kerwin as his partner. In order to be noticed they have to be flamboyant enough to attract attention which Benson finds rather disturbing. Can an uptight heterosexual and a mousey homosexual form a meaningful relationship?
