"...to shame the guys who have been tickled..."
It's difficult to take this seriously...competitive endurance tickling competitions! Yes, you read that correctly! But...serious it becomes!
This started out as an innocuous, novelty news item...a light-hearted look at a bizzare side of life. However, the darkness soon descends...an ill-equipped journalist and his sidekick soon find themselves in the thick of homophobic abuse and litigation...because of...tickling...all awhile gleefully clutching a bag of the finest ingredients necessary for a damn fine documentary.
Ill-equpped or not, the filmmakers stumbled into and relentlessly pursued an international [tickling] syndicate of abuse, exploitation, harassment and blackmail.
It all makes for a - truly - riveting film.
Without giving too much away...the film peels away the layers to reveal a deeply troubled individual...a trust-funded middle-aged Millionaire-brat who is - simply - rotten to the core.
The bigger picture reveals the injustice (and, possible corruption) of the American legal and juducial systems...and, that inherited money goes to the least deserving.
This film should have prompted a formal investigation...with consequent charges being made. But, hey, here in America...money can [even] buy innocence!
It really does need to be seen...to be believed!
