It's Dogme...which usually means cheap and more often than not...amateur.

This is both cheap and amateur...and, to make matters worse it is dubbed into Spanish, using the cheapest and most amateur actors they could find.

Dogme was a movement that is finally and thankfully over - it produced a couple of outstanding films - this, by no stretch of the imagination, is one of them.
