Serile Filmului Gay
Gay Film Nights
GAY FILM NIGHTS International Film Festival (SERILE FILMULUI GAY International Film festival - in Romanian) is the first international LGBTQIA+ film festival in Romania.
In a country where gay and Roma people are avoided by most (as shown by the E.U. Fundamental Rights Agency), the festival aims to send an accurate and efficient messages about cultural diversity and accepting individual values.
To fulfill this goal, the program of the festival includes such activities as LGBT film competitions, exhibitions, shows, public debates, as well as outreach and ecological actions.
Every year, free entrance is granted to all these events: the purpose of the festival is not to obtain money, but to promote democracy, tolerance and diversity.
