Sense8...Cancelled!!!

After binge-watching the second series...we here at CGiii.com were, despite a couple of dodgy performances, smitten! The scale of this production is nothing but impressive...

Hark...the angels are not singing...Netflix cancels its most ambitious series to date...with a paltry excuse!

“After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end. It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass and outright unforgettable,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of the streaming video service’s original content, in a statement. “Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lily, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment.”

Now, notoriously, Netflix refuses to publish its viewing figures...with each episode of Sense8 costing an alleged $9 million dollars...it doesn't take a genius to figure out the real reason behind the cancellation!

Not enough people watched it!!!

Over 450,000 people have signed an on-line petition against the Netflix executives' decision...wow, that'll make a difference! But, you never know...it just might!

If we may offer a suggestion...scale it down, get rid of the weaker performances/storylines...cull the cluster!

And, to everyone out there...if you don't support LGBT TV shows, they get cancelled just like non-LGBT shows! That's life...it's a business!
