We didn't know what to expect...but, we didn't expect this!
Look...we haven't seen all the episodes [yet]...but, what we have seen is a revelation. Rupaul absolutely shines...and, Izzy Gaspersz is fierce.
From one of the opening lines...not bad for a senior citizen...though not a bona fide pensioner, Rupaul has been kicking around for quite some time...2020 will mark a significant birthday! And, AJ and The Queen will be an extra [glorious] feather in his crown.
It's early days...but, so far...so very good...we'll update as we progress through the series!
Sooo...we've watched it all...and, loved it! Still, that's it for AJ...cancelled after just 10 episodes. But...in reality, the story had nowhere else to go. So, perhaps it was a wise decision.
Trailer...
The(ir) Blurb...
It will feature RuPaul as 'Ruby Red, a bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown 1990's R/V with her unlikely sidekick AJ, a recently orphaned, tough-talking, scrappy 11-year-old stowaway.' So, two misfits - one tall, one small - sashaying across the country, spreading a message of acceptance and love.
