International Queer & Migrant Film Festival

International Queer & Migrant Film festival is a film festival for queer & migrant related films as well as a multi-disciplinary community space with art exhibitions, literature and theater.

Each year IQMF screens over 30 features, shorts and documentaries from around the world. With an annual audience of 3,000 IQMF is steadily growing. The festival centers around International Human Rights Day and a Human Rights Award is dedicated to a queer filmmaker, artist or activist on this day.

The work begins with footage from East Broadway Mall in New York’s Chinatown during the pandemic, where workers describe both their expectations regarding working conditions and the actual circumstances in a neighborhood that is gradually becoming more vacant and transforming daily.
