Queer Film Festival Kathmandu is bringing back the rejoice of being yourself, carefree of per-defined notions of identity - as we present 50 amazing queer cinema from world over. We welcome all films regardless of content above 5 minutes to apply. The 2025 festival will take place between 3 - 6 December in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Queer film festival Kathmandu is Nepal's only festival dedicated to Queer narratives. The festival functions as an incubator platform for queer voice and participation in Nepal's cinema.
Queer Film Festival Kathmandu is a non competitive festival. The festival honours a filmmaker with the ‘Freedom Filmmaker Recognition’ for their contribution made to queer movement, for their commitment towards cinema of diversity.
