Bari Queer Festival

The first queer-themed art and cinema festival of the Puglia Region is born in Bari, scheduled from 1 to 4 December 2011. An investigation into identity, not only of gender and with particular attention to queer culture, through the lens of cinema and visual arts: this is the goal of the Bari Queer Festival.

The backbone of the Bari Queer Festival is therefore constituted by the film programming that will present some of the most recent and most successful feature films, documentaries and short films, not only in the field of cinematography linked to queer culture, which are unlikely to be distributed in cinemas. The screenings will be accompanied by open meetings with the directors and main protagonists
