Trans Film Fest Stockholm

Trans Film Fest Stockholm 2026 will be the the 9th Edition, and our 11th year doing our film festival taking place in Stockholm around Trans Day of Visibility (31st of March). We are planning on holding our usual mix of Trans & gender-diverse long & short films, interesting discussions, & welcoming social events.
Our focus is on selecting films made by and with trans and gender-diverse people (including but not limited to people who define as Transgender, Intersex, Non-Binary, Gender-nonconforming, Genderqueer). We will also look to LGBT and Queer films with strong trans and gender diverse content, or LGBT and Queer films made by trans and gender-diverse people.
Again this year, we are putting out a call for film submissions, so please submit your film(s) for consideration. We're looking forward to receiving your work!
Deadline is December 14th for possible inclusion in the 2026 event.
We don't give prizes. This festival aims to provide a space to reflect on trans people and how we in our community can change the harmful narratives of trans people worldwide.
