OUR PRIDE Shorts & Arts Fest

OUR PRIDE Shorts & Arts Fest

Saturday, 05 October 2024 until Thursday, 31 October 2024

Welcome to the 2024 OUR PRIDE Shorts & Arts Fest, the global LGBTQIA+ content creators festival featuring short films, video, art and music.

2024 Theme: "Born Free & Equal: Human Rights are UNIVERSAL"
* 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

* NEW for 2024: videoPoetry

Our 2023 program featured 60 youth-produced short films, co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood, California.

We welcome our partnership with InterPride member organizations around the world, including East Africa Visual Artists, the creators of "Human Rights are Universal" in Kampala, Uganda, a country embracing the world's harshest anti-LGBTQ laws enacted in May 2023.

2024 THEME: "Born Free & Equal" with entries highlighting the Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the face of personal and collective struggles in the global LGBTQIA+ community, featuring such topics as Social Justice, Human Rights, Current Issues, Mental Health, Personal Stories, Local Pride, LGBTQIA+ Community & History, and more.

Social Justice issues highlight: Amnesty / Immigration, Disability Justice, Economic Justice, Environmental Justice, Gender Justice, Health Justice, Racial Justice, and Reproductive Justice.
