La Palma Rosa

La Palma Rosa

LGBTi Festival of Film & Culture Sitges

Address

  • Sitges, Barcelona
  • Spain

Sitges has always lacked a film festival dedicated to LGBTi movies and La Palma Rosa fills that void, in a region which is a key destination for LGBT holidaymakers – often referred to as ‘The Spanish Riviera’. Our intended audience includes: local residents, national & international tourists. Sitges has an above average number of LGBTi residents (estimated to be as high as 20%) with the town being home to over 28,500 people – in the summer, tourism raises that number to as much as 300,000.

Festival events include: 4 days of feature length movies & documentaries with personal appearances by stars, producers & directors, cabaret shows by performers from New York & London and a night of art-house theatre. Through promotion locally and internationally, La Palma Rosa will attract film festival patrons with unique content and creative scheduling.
