Kreives: Vilnius LGBT* Festival

Vilnius queer festival "Kreivės" is a cultural and social initiative which started in 2014. It is the first annual LGBT* festival in Lithuania and the Baltics. Building on earlier and cooperating with concurrent queer initiatives, we aspire to be a unique space for film screenings, events and community building.
Our vision is to build a community which acknowledges and passionately supports variety in LGBT* expressions and viewpoints. We are committed to bringing stories that spring from diverse lives and transform our vision of who we are and who we can be.
Held in an atmospheric little cinema in central Vilnius and venues across the town, "Kreivės" events attract several thousand visitors each year. Entrance to the festival's film screenings and events is donation-based.
Entries selected for the competitive category will compete for the Jury Award for Best Short Film and Best Feature. The Best Short Film winner will receive a cash prize of €200 (two hundred euros).
All films screened at "Kreivės" will be eligible for the Audience Choice Award which does not include a cash prize.

What do abortions look like? What kind of images shape our view on them? And where do these images come from? The desktop video essay Getty Abortions examines how German and Austrian media illustrate the topic of abortion, browsing through stock photo databases, teen magazines and personal documents of a real abortion experience. It jumps from the early 2000s to the late 19th century, seeks out feminist knowledge and chats with fictional characters. However, one question remains: Why does no one look into the camera?

Three trans women meet in a country house to plan a robbery. The trick of the heist is that, in order to create a false trail, they disguise themselves as men. While they share everyday life as a well-established team and lovers, they practice speaking in a deep voice, walking manly and behaving in a masculine manner.
In this process, they reach their emotional and physical limits and repeatedly fail to imitate male connoted behavior.
