Wild Project Queer Film Initiative
New York No Limits Film Series is an ongoing collection of one-night short film screenings that presents the best films from around the world in New York City, which continues to be an important focal point of the independent film scene. The series culminates with our Film Summit, a 3-day festival that exhibits feature films and short films.
New York No Limits Film Series' mission is to sustain diversity in film, create discussion among the audience, and inspire filmmakers to push forward to perfect their craft to their fullest potential. The series provides filmmakers the platform to explore innovative narrative and personal themes that focus on the human experience. We encourage films to experiment without commercial pressure.
We have returned to 100% in-person, full capacity events. Our events are presented by our sponsor organization, Wild Project, an 89-seat nonprofit theater in the East Village.
New York No Limits Film Series will present awards for Best Film as selected by our Jury of industry professionals and the Audience Award at the conclusion of the NYNL Film Summit in December 2022.
Short films that exhibit at our Art of the Short film events throughout the season are eligible for an additional Best Of screening at the Summit. Please note, that feature films are only screened at the Summit along with NYNL premiere and the Best Of short films.
The feature film call for entry is open and features will be considered for our film Summit.
