BIGff: Bari International Gender Film Festival

BIGff: Bari International Gender Film Festival

Friday, 31 October 2025 until Friday, 05 December 2025

The BIG B ari I nternational G enderfilm festival promoted by Soc.Coop. Al.ice, is the gay-lesbo-bisex-trans-queer-intersexual film festival of the city of Bari , active since 2015. It is divided into a full program of cultural activities that covers the whole year with screenings of films (feature films, documentaries and short films), debates and conferences , art workshops , performance incursions (theater / dance / music), focused on the themes of gender, identity and sexual orientation.

Every year the BIG film festival intercepts some trend-topics from current events and translates them into artistic programming, responding to a request for contemporaneity regarding the themes of investigation. He sees in the different geographies of the PLANET a possibility of comparison and dialogue by making the public aware , through films of different origins, of the different socio-political realities existing in the world , in this way sensitizing the audience to respect for sexual and even ethnic diversity social.
