Queer Voices: NYC
Queer Voices: NYC (QVNYC) – is a 3-day film festival focused on centering and celebrating LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color from around the globe. Season 3 will once again be hosted at none other than Manhattan's historic LGBT Center!
Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color by providing a platform to showcase their talent, shape their own stories, and connect them to professional development opportunities in the entertainment industry. Through entertaining and socially relevant films, we aim to educate and inspire audiences to embrace their truths and advocate for social justice.
With an exceptional catalog of films, thought-provoking live panels, and engaging talkbacks, QVNYC creates an environment that builds connection, inspires advocacy, and provides filmmakers with real-world opportunities.
QVNYC is more than just a film festival. We are a vibrant community created to support, uplift, connect, and push each other forward.
