Branksome Beach, midnight. A storm is coming. Winnie awakens from a botched suicide attempt to witness the death of her youngest son. Samuel, her eldest, dives into the ocean in an attempt to rescue him. He fails.

Eleven years later, two naked male bodies wash up ashore…

Bournemouth, present day. Film student Felix fills the void of his existence with excessive drug taking and stagnant friendships. He is awoken from apathy by a voyeuristic infatuation with struggling artist Samuel and his psychosis-suffering mother.

Felix manipulates his way into their lives for his own self-gain. He aims to construct a documentary about the daily routines of living with a mental illness, which he entitles ‘Remember me as a day.’ Felix, who exposes Samuel to a world liberated from responsibility, easily seduces him despite Samuel’s earlier reservations.
