Three in a bed and the girl says...I know what's going to happen.

Unrequited love, bisexual tendencies, swimming pools and sheet sniffing.

And, yes, it is a little grim - mean and moody.

Some may refer to it as atmospheric - with its sparse dialogue - but, it turns out to be more of a dull trek.

It is well made and finely acted - it's the story that lets it down.

It's pretty clear from early on how it's going to unravel - you just need stamina to see it through and then you'll ask: was it worth it?

And the answer is: NO.

At Christmas time, 19 year old Simon returns home to visit his dysfunctional family with Louise, a fearless girl he met during his train ride.
