Multiple lives, multiple roles...hopefully, the director knows what it's all about.
It's imaginative in a gloomy, grueling sort of way...and then, Kylie starts to sing in a derelict department store...it's all very actor-ish.
Surreal, absurd, contrived - it's all of these things and more. Possibly, the history of cinema has just been condensed into 115 minutes...possibly not.
Hard and unsatisfying work.
