CGiii Comment

A camp and emaciated Bowie spouting his views and philosophy...in a time when America had the dream and Bowie was living his - fascinating.

Interesting to see if he could get away with it all now? Times have changed. There are no artists like this now...sadly.

A reflection of times gone - a glimpse back that will make some - of a certain age - smile at the nostalgia, the idealism and the hypocrisy.

Bless, Bowie.

The(ir) Blurb...

BBC documentary showing David Bowie looking back on his Ziggy Stardust character during his Diamond Dogs tour.

Alan Yentob says "I'd caught him at what was an intensely creative time, but it was also physically and emotionally grueling. Our encounters tended to take place in hotel rooms in the early hours of the morning or in snatched conversations in the back of limousines. He was fragile and exhausted, but also prepared to open up and talk in a way he had never really done before."
