CGiii Comment

A decent little film...let-down by a non-existent marketing campaign.

It's not the greatest film ever made...but, it's a damn sight better than the majority of fluffy gay-themed films produced stateside...and, this is a Hungarian production!!! A trifle bizarre.

Fluffy - in parts - it may be...but, it does have some balls. Cheyenne Jackson's to be precise...and, he delivers them on a garnished plate...who knew the boy had comic timing?!?

He's pretty good in this...bouncing off Gena Rowlands admirably...and, there is chemistry between the two.

Yes...it does get a little sentimental...but, shamelessly so...it was designed to pull at the heartstrings...an not-so-odd couple facing different life challenges...mortality and loneliness.

It's not all just a walk down of a daisy-fringed path...there is a bitterness, there is regret, there are acrid exchanges...there are a few damn fine lines that will make you scream your tits off.

A little gem of a film.
