Two young university students, Nam and Minh, live together in a small rented apartment. They are lovers. Minh suddenly disappears, leaving Nam soullessly alone in the apartment. The confusing emotions and feelings contained within Nam have not been expressed. Nam's beautiful memories of Minh are replaced by horrifying delusions: the brutal, tragic death of the person he loves. Nam sees his hands stained with Minh's blood, and he is the one who killed Minh in those dreams. This makes Nam feel even more miserable. He is disoriented and no longer able to distinguish between reality and delusions. Ngoc is their neighbor and the friend who stays by Nam's side to care for and accompany him while he gradually loses his mind. Everything gradually becomes apparent, and the explanation for Nam's nightmares is revealed.
