  • Director: Serkan Çiftçi

CGiii Comment

Deniz is a trans* woman who works as a sex worker in Mersin, a town in southern Turkey. One night she was a victim of a hate attack. Seriously injured, she managed to flee, but was struck by a car and suffered a further injury – a compound fracture of her leg. This fly-on-the-wall documentary accompanies her recovery, supported by her roommates Ece and Berfin, as she not only learns to walk again, but returns to anti-homo-/trans*phobic activism with the Mersin 7 Renk (7 Colors LGBTIQ* Association), figting hate with noisy visibility.
