Part 1 of the Millenium Trilogy...the first thing you will notice is that the cinematography is perfection.
The next thing you'll notice is...this is a bloody good story with top-notch performances.
And, it will be re-made - for sure - because it really is that good.
Any bets as to the quality of the USA re-make?!?

Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle suspects murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family.
