Who exactly was this made for? Because, it fails - for every kind of audience.

The first third of this film is a mix between unpalatable comedy and severe maliciousness - the cruelty and the ignorance is intolerable.

The second third sees fem-boy befriend tomboy - enough!

If this is a re-make of the astounding 'Ma Vie En Rose' - then, Shirley and Ciminello didn't see the original and decided to make a farcical disaster instead.
