When egos are allowed to run ragged...

Alig aspired to celebrity via murder. In this film, his remorse does not come shining through. No surprises that his parole has been denied.

A cacophony of clawing clowns - each and every one of them - they all look and sound so ridiculous - now and then.

Alig's mother should be ashamed for even appearing - her quest for celebrity is all too obvious.

The filmmakers did well in exposing these grim creatures...hopefully, that was their intention.

The(ir) Blurb...

This documentary depicts the rise and fall of Michael Alig, who arrives in New York City from Indiana and becomes a renowned club promoter. Notorious for their outlandishness, his parties become increasingly debauched and drug-fueled, as does Alig himself. When drug dealer and club regular Angel Mel… Moreendez is found dead, evidence eventually points to Alig and one of his roommates as the killers. The film features interviews with Alig and others in his world, along with dramatized reenactments.
