CGiii Comment

There is much to admire...considering that in the 70s the German film industry was polluted by pseudo-intellectuals (Fassbinder et al.)...this grubby little film is devoid of the overt  pretension - staggeringly displayed by the pseuds.

That said, it's not a great film by any stretch of the imagination...the actresses are particularly bad.

As for the story, it takes half the film for it to start...after meandering through filth, moral decay and the gay-4-pay obligation to seediness.

If anything...it will make you feel dirty...but, the much-lauded theme song is rather good.

The(ir) Blurb...

18-year old Willi is living on the street - there are no goals in his life. There, he meets several people, helping but also cheating him. When he finally meets Monica, he realizes that there are people out there whose lives are even more desperate than his. So he's trying to help her (and him) by planning a great robbery on a supermarket's money transporter.
