CGiii Comment

The idiocy of a narrow-minded, macho father...

Gender identity and all of its complexities.....this film certainly tries to address some of the issues but it barely scratches the surface - limited by budget, time and experience.

That said, this is a heartfelt and impressive debut...with a courageous central performance.

A good start to a promising career.
