CGiii Comment

As sweet as a barrel load of molasses - enough to turn your stomach.

Ouch, that's just too cruel.

This little film does not deserve such harshness.

It does make a welcome change from the usual drug-snorting, down-on-my-luck hustler storylines.

This is light and frilly, wholesome and sanctimonious - that Texan drawl...

Calciano: the direction is not good...awkward in places but, at least, the camera was as steady as a preacher on Sunday.

The actors actually do a good job with the clunky script - with better material, bigger and better things could loom - there is some talent on show.

The ending: really, it is rather inspired.

Sweet - if a little sickly.

It will leave you with a smile - that's not a bad way to leave a film.

The(ir) Blurb...

Frustrated by his ongoing failure to meet Mr. Right, Blaine stumbles upon what might be his perfect match in an online chat room - Xander, a sweet, hunky Texan who's recently moved to LA. Smitten, Blaine finds he's been chatting to Xander under his go-go dancer roommate's profile, setting in motion a convoluted comedy of errors with romance as the ultimate objective.
