CGiii Comment

Foul-mouthed, hard-drinking Stella accepts no compromises...that is, until her life partner is taken away from her...

Brenda & Olympia, these two grand ladies of film, have genuine chemistry...making the ridiculousness of the story completely plausible.

A couple of grievances: the forced comedy - really, not necessary - and, the grand-daughter - too facile.

This is engaging and heart-warming stuff - with some particularly strong language - you will laugh and, perhaps, cry - if your heart is not made of stone.
