CGiii Comment

Three months in the life of Camila, translator and expert of Shakespeare’s theatre, three months in which she flies to New York from Buenos Aires to attend a project based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and she intertwines relationships with men and women, facing her past and discovering her future. With the help of a series of mysterious postcards that she starts to receive.

With his usual grace, Matías Piñeiro experiments with storytelling exploring all the possible directions of Camila’s life, thinking about the poetic verses of the English dramatist and employing the very known faces of some of his muses like María Villar, Agustina Muñoz and Laura Paredes. The director bonds together English and Spanish languages, men and women, silence and music, with the aim to draw the paths and the trajectories of a map of a human comedy where every person is the treasure hunt of another.
