What a troubled production this was...the 1985 version is a travesty in comparison to the 2002 re-edit.

There's nothing particularly 'gay' about it - apart from Tim Curry being a camp devil...rather intoxicating to say the least.

So...if you like fairies and unicorns...then, you'll love this - not the 2002 version.
