CGiii Comment

You never know what you're going to get from a Van Sant film...and, this is certainly a surprise.

A pleasant one.

There is no gay content, no silly gimmicks, no arty-farty nonsense. It's a straightforward narrative that tells the story with a gentle emotion.

Far removed from the usual...an interesting film from an interesting director who has definitely tried something a little different.

Not bad at all.
