CGiii Comment

Langlois' 1st feature - it's a very quiet affair with the odd burst of hideous incidental music.

If it is a comedy...then, the funny bits failed to hit the radar.

Langlois started out with little talent - his later works confirm that he has neither improved nor even attempted to improve.

A dreary brand of direction.

The(ir) Blurb...

L'ESCORTE is a comedy of manners where cynicism and false naiveté mingle in a bittersweet study of love, lies and friendship in the age of AIDS. Amid the laughter and the tears, the hustle and bustle of life goes on.
