Not a film for the feminists!
Barbara Kopple has won 2 Oscars (Harlan County U.S.A. (1976) & American Dream (1990))...so, expectations were running high.
Those expectations were soon squashed...there is [literally] no direction.
Greg/GregoryGorgeous/Gigi Gorgeous [YouTuber extraordinaire] drones on and on and on [about make-up]...throughout his/her oh-so-public [financially comfortable] transition.
Sadly, this is a documentary about the [wo]manufacturing...duly becoming...a self-serving, manufactured [promotional] 'documentary'!
The idiot [ooops that's her manager] who said it's nothing to do with transgender...WHAT!?!...it's everything to do with transgender!
The only serious issue appears in the last few seconds!!! Too late, too brief...making all the on-screen affectations just a little too much to stomach!
Yes, it is about love...sadly, Ms Kopple forgot about Gigi's father...who - really - is the star of the show! Not the YouTuber!
