CGiii Comment

While three 19-year-old childhood friends gather round a late night bonfire at the village where they grew up, an increasingly louder, ominous thunderstorm looms over the village hills, as doubt over the future of their friendship creeps in. An exceptional piece combining a mystical, realistic and even impressionist vibe all in one. An intimate exploration of young, Israeli masculinity and a clever, human portrayal of Israeli society's many clashing layers as issues of religion, ethnicity and sexuality all rise to the surface.
